岗位要求

Position: Sales Engineer

  

Department:Sales Department

Report to:Sales Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

  

  • Selling products and services to Chinese Customers as defined in the agreed selling strategy.

  • Identify, attract and retain customers in the two target market segments of Manufacturers of Ophthalmic and Life Science Equipment. 

    

Key Responsibilities:

  

1、 Identify potential customers and the respective contacts within those companies and develop relationships on different levels.

  

2、 Conducting market analysis and transferring market requirements and/or potentials to the management team.

  

3、 Acquisition of new customers with growth potential within the defined target markets within the defined target customer segments and acquire them as long term customers.

  

4、 Being responsible for commercial aspects of customer discussions, in particular for: developing offers, writing and submitting quotes, contract discussions, price discussions, and frame-contract discussions within the specified authorization.

5. Cooperate with all relevant departments in both Wuhan and Headquarter, in particular Engineering and Technology as well as Operations.

6. Coordinate technical support for customers together with lead engineer.

7. Contribute to the evolution of the sales strategy.

8. Continuously observe the market in order to react proactively to trends (economic, applicative and technology-driven) and changes in the competitive environment.

9. Other duties assigned by Sales manager. 

  

Qualification:

  

1、Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Medical / Life Science related topic (e.g. Medical Doctor, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Medical Engineering, etc…) / Photonics / Engineering

2.  At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales or Key Accounting to customers in the Medical Device Industry, ideally related to the field of Optics/Photonics.

3. Experience in selling to integrators/OEM’s as a plus.

4. Profound technical knowledge, ideally related to optics or opto-/ electronical-/ mechanical- systems.

5. Sound market knowledge in the Medical Equipment / Medical Device Industry in China.

6. Actively input on market trends, customer changing needs, new applications and possible new developments.

7. Good command of spoken & written English

8. Sales mentality, able to work independently but within clearly set boundaries, Entrepreneurial mind-set, Eager to learn and develop.

9. Willing work under high pressure and accept business travels.

10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, cross functional and internationally.
