Description:Responsible for developing, initiating, leading, and driving operation continuous improvement projects with a team of Industrial Engineer’s. This includes any and all possible lean and productivity improvement activities to reduce operating costs or production capacity.Coordinate equipment layout design and material flow for maximizing production capacity and efficiency. Drive and coordinate production capacity planning and monitor operation efficiency.Key responsibilities:?Drive development and / or installation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods.?Track labor, efficient manpower utilization and line balancing.?Analyze problem process and production capacity constraints and conduct equipment cycle time analysis?Prepare or direct the preparation of Annual Operation budget plan upon equipment investment for capacity ramp-up and new products cut-in.?Review proposed changes in plant layout, processes, material handling, routing etc.?Analyze production and non-production operations to determine those requiring study and develop new or improved methods and standards?Lead Lean and Kaizen activities and review employee proposals and suggestions.?Conduct value stream mapping and process audits?Assist production in planning labor allocations for mix and line speed changes.?Provide and implement solutions to reduce labor, reduce waste and improve throughput.?Lead analytical studies targeting industrial process improvement.?Manage the processes and methods used to establish yield, labor and supply standards.?Oversee the activities and project work of various manufacturing sites?Generate and update equipment annual budget plan.?Review and approve production standard time reports, measure labor performance.?Initiate, organize and approve/reject yield, labor and supply costing standard changes as needed.Job Requirements:?Ability to understand, implement and apply lean tools and concepts to Company Production Systems implementation or improvement?Demonstrated ability to oversee the design, analysis and implementation of industrial engineering methodologies to optimize capability and capacity throughout the value stream?Experience managing or leading teams/cross functional teams?8+ years experience in Industrial Engineering.?Strong project management experience required.?Ability to work closely with all internal customers, various production plants.?Team leadership and coaching skills.Qualifications:?Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.?Good command of English writing and oral skills.
